For those wondering who the individuals who inspire me are (which seem to be quite a lot of individuals, it appears).
These are people (or groups, or otherwise franchises) that have inspired me throughout my life (in no particular order). I will provide short explanations of how they have influenced me and my art. For those of you who don't know some of these, look em up.

Bill Watterson
His dazzlingly intelligent take on cartooning provided me what is probably the biggest motivational push to pursue the field. Calvin & Hobbes continues to inspire me to this day.
Don Hertzfeldt
Living proof that complexity is not a requirement to tell a broad and even transcendental story, his quirky, dark-humored stick figures are absolutely spellbinding.
Hayao Miyazaki
Combining his immeasurable talent in art and animation and his dedication towards his work, Miyazaki has created such beautiful films that will be remembered for decades to come.
Jeff Smith
The indescribably creative mind behind the BONE series, I owe a great deal of my dedication as a cartoonist to his work.
M.C. Escher
A unique artist whose creations will continue to inspire future generations of artists to come, how can any aspiring artist not look up to him?
Days of the New
Having been introduced to Days of the New at a young age, Meeks' music continues to inspire my art to this day.
Tool
With each band member expressing such a vast intellect in their music making, and their beautiful songwriting being an inspiration tho all those who hear it, Tool have had a massive impact not just on my art, but my very perception of the world around me.
George Carlin
Observant, intelligent, and hilarious to boot, Carlin's rants are some of the most thought provoking messages I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.
Brad Bird
The mind behind such imaginative films such as The Iron Giant, and The Incredibles, Brad Bird is an animation guru.
Albert C. Barnes
Having a daring take on art and its place in museums, Barnes has greatly inspired my artistic views in the recent years.
Terrence Fletcher (Whiplash)
This character struck me like lightening. Pushing his students to their absolute limit to see them become something indescribable is quite inspiring. Some call him a brute, I call him a genius.
Pixar
Creator's of dozens of imaginative and visually stunning works of animation, I cannot leave this studio off my list of artistic influences.
Bionicle
Mainly the massive lore behind the series being what catches my attention, writer Greg Farshtey and Christian Faber gives such incredible depth and complexity to each and every character, environment, and element in this series, it's as if they've created an entire universe out of Lego pieces.
